Objective:

Introduction:
This course is designed to provide students with a broad view of the global dynamic hospitality industry. Students attain relevant skills needed to gain employment at international 5-Star hotels and resorts, international airlines as flight attendants, cruise ships, restaurants, prestigious clubs and spas, etc. It provides students with the confidence and management skills to operate and manage their own restaurants, homestays or boutique hotels.

A tourist guide is licensed by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture. This profession is exciting and challenging and allows graduates to also work as tour leaders, or manage their own inbound tour businesses. Dewan Rakyat quoted on Friday 11 June 2004: 'Ministry of Tourism and Culture Tourist Guides can earn between RM6,000 and RM10,000 a month or RM15,000 during peak season'.
Today, tourist guide professionals can earn an average between RM7K – RM13K a month during peak season. This course is very popular among working adults and retirees.

Entry requirement:
i. SPM/SPVM/UEC/MCE/ GCE 'O' Level (6 subjects passes including BM).
